Moving at Christmas

Christmas can be a fantastic time of year to move property. It can make your festive period that much more memorable – if that’s possible. It is worth keeping in mind that this time of year can be quite busy and hectic so it’s advisable to plan far in advance to make sure everything runs like clockwork.

Moving in Summer

It can be a great idea to move home in summer due to the long days and warm evenings. There a couple of things to consider moving at this time though. This includes knowing when the kid’s summer holidays fall. It will be advantageous with your older children who can help move boxes although if they’re younger it might not run as smoothly.

Moving at New Year

Moving in January can be a great time as it’s a fresh start for you and it’s something great to look forward to after the festive period. It’s important to note though that it’s worth thinking about packing up everything and keeping it in storage before December so you’re not surrounded by boxes when you’re popping open Prosecco on New Year’s Eve. It can also be cold so take care when transporting boxes and other belongings as it can be icy which could cause a safety hazard.
